FIRST PRINT MARKETS
Choose the rail you expect the tape to touch first. This testnet preview records every free-play call and settlement on a public ledger.
THE MARKET IS SIMPLE BY DESIGN.
A First Print round starts from one signed reference price. Two equally distant rails are fixed above and below it. Call the direction with free play credits; the first valid report to touch a rail settles the round.
Choose uptick or downtick and commit nontransferable play credits. Credits cannot be purchased, sold, withdrawn, or redeemed.
The signed reference report and both rails are committed onchain. No new calls can enter the round.
Signed reports are ordered by observation time. A challenge window lets an earlier valid crossing replace a provisional result.
Correct calls receive leaderboard credits only. A halt, stale report, timeout, or untouched rail returns every play credit.
Rounds settle in public. Follow every play entry, signed report, challenge, and score from call to transaction.

“There is nothing new in Wall Street.”
Jesse Livermore learned markets as a quotation-board boy, memorizing the rhythm of changing prices before he ever placed a trade.
As a teenager, he took those patterns into Boston’s bucket shops—rooms where customers called the next move from a live ticker tape. His life inspired Edwin Lefèvre’s 1923 classic Reminiscences of a Stock Operator.
The Bucket Shop brings that immediacy to a testnet forecasting game: transparent rules, a public tape, and scoring no operator can rewrite.
The round’s essential terms are committed before the tape runs. What you see on the play slip is what the testnet contract enforces.
